Waikato Police aren't ruling out further arrests, after a teenage boy was run over by a car multiple times at a Ngaruawahia sports park

Waikato Police aren't ruling out further arrests, after a teenage boy was run over by a car multiple times at a Ngaruawahia sports park

The 15-year-old has been fighting for his life after the incident last Wednesday, with multiple fractures and internal injuries.

A 28-year-old appeared in court on Saturday, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

A black Toyota Auris -- registration number NBE817 -- found abandoned north of Morrinsville on Thursday night.

Detective Inspector Darrell Harpur says Police are still appealing for sightings or footage of the vehicle.
