    Part of State Highway One is closed in Canterbury after a crash involving a truck and three cars that's seriously injured at least one person


    Emergency services were called to the scene near Ashburton's Tinwald at the intersection with Laings Road about 3.30.

    The road's expected to be shut for several hours.

    Detours are in place.
