    Rumer Willis has had the "best year of [her] life" with her "greatest teacher", her daughter Louetta

    The 'House Bunny' actress' little girl - who she has with her partner Derek Thomas - turned one over the weekend and the 35-year-old star reflected on the last 12 months with her "gift" of a child.


    Sharing a slidshow of photos from her pregnancy, birth, and the tot's first year - including with Louetta's dementia-stricken grandfather Bruce Willis - Rumer wrote on Instagram: "Oh my tiny tender daughter, I CANT BELIEVE YOU ARE 1

    "This last year with you has been the best year of my life. Lou I have never known a love like yours. You are the most delicious, most beautiful, smartest, funniest, sweetest girl I know.

    "I can't believe you choose me to be your mama oh my goodness. Every day you grow and learn more and you are my greatest teacher and my deepest love.

    "You are a gift to every one you meet and your smile is almost blinding it's so magical. Your laugh is my favorite sound in the whole wide world. Your tiny kisses are the best thing to wake up to. I love you so deep in my bones my tiny daughter. I can't wait to see what this next year brings!! (sic)"

    Rumer went on to pay tribute to her mother Demi Moore, sisters Scout and Tallulah, half-siblings Mabel and Evelyn, Bruce, his wife Emma Heming - who she described as a "bonus Gma" to her daughter" - for all the support they offer her family, as well as thanking her partner and other friends.

    She continued: "Thank you to @demimoore for being the best Ya Ya I could ask for, Lou loves you so much. @scoutlaruewillis @buuski Mabel and Evelyn for being the greatest aunties and Emma for being bonus Gma and my Papa and @ericbuterbaugh for being the best Papous

    "Thank you @derekrichardthomas for the greatest gift of my life. She is so lucky to have you as her papa. I can't believe our baby girl is 1

    "Thank you to my incredible support system of women who helped me bring this magical being earthside @lbreggy @thevitalwoman @meaghan_snider_ I am so honored to have had you there to hold the container for the most tremendous and transformative day of my life

    "To my little squambo, scooby lou, my twin, my firey Aries wonder kid, my best friend and partner in crime I love you more everyday and I am so grateful for you. Love your mama.

    "Special thanks to my incredible birth photographer @cristinakingbirth who came out to capture my girl again on her 1st birthday.(sic)"
