A Police search continues for a fisherman who fell from their boat off the Waikato coast yesterday

The man was fishing alone about eight nautical miles off the coast of Raglan.

He called Maritime Radio around 10am, saying he was having a medical event, shortly before activating his emergency locator beacon.

The man's boat was found, but there was no sign of him.

The Police National Dive Squad is joining the search this morning.
