Some tourist hotspots across New Zealand will be exempt from Anzac trading laws this morning

Some tourist hotspots across New Zealand will be exempt from Anzac trading laws this morning

Most shops selling only goods or products, such as supermarkets, will have to close until 1pm.

However, hospitality and service based businesses such as dairies, petrol stations, pharmacies, restaurants, cafes and hairdressers can remain open.

MBIE Labour Inspectorate David Milne says nine areas are among those exempt due to tourism reasons.
