Delays to a 2.4 million dollar park in the works near Wellington Airport

Delays to a 2.4 million dollar park in the works near Wellington Airport

The airport needs to replace a wall built in the 60s - for work to begin on the Huetepara Park development.

A Wellington City Council spokesperson's confirmed there'll be an updated timeline soon - and the proposed cost is budgeted for and approved.

The development's backers say the delay is frustrating, but unavoidable.
