Andrey Rublev has overcome an opening set wobble to beat Felix Auger-Aliassime in the final of the Madrid Open, securing his second Masters 1000 tennis title

The Russian, who had been struggling with a fever, prevailed in just under three hours.

Rublev had come into the tournament in poor form, having lost his previous four matches on tour.
