    A drug smuggler caught at Auckland Airport last year has been sentenced to more than five years in jail

    42-year-old Delphine Ganon was caught with 4.3 kilograms of cocaine in the linings of her suitcase and in cosmetic bottles.

    Customs says it would have been worth almost $2 million on the street and caused about $1.3 million in social harm.

    Ganon was convicted for importing and possessing a Class A controlled drug at Manukau District Court today.
