A jury's found a Christchurch man guilty of murdering his baby daughter

A jury's found a Christchurch man guilty of murdering his baby daughter

Michael John Topp has been on trial at the High Court in Christchurch since May.

The jury's found him guilty of murder and deliberately injuring the baby.

He'll be handed a life sentence in July, and the presiding judge will determine a non-parole period.

Police acknowledge the verdict - saying any homicide investigation is distressing.
