A section of State Highway 2 in the Hawkes Bay is closed - after a single vehicle crash this evening

The North and South bound lanes of the Expressway are closed - between Watchman Road and Prebensen Drive .

The vehicle involved has been removed from the road- but there's damage to the flexible median barrier.

The road will reopen later this evening, but temporary 50 kilometre limits will stay in place overnight.
