    The Chatham Islands council says it's urgently trying to re-supply petrol, as the island's only station has run out


    The station services the population of around 700 people.

    It comes as repairs on their trading vessel is taking longer than expected.

    Mayor Monique Croon says a number of agencies are trying to sort another barge to come to the island, and deliver essentials
