Fill-in fullback Taine Tuaupiki is the hero for the Warriors, who've snapped their four-game losing streak by stunning the Penrith Panthers 22-20 in NRL Magic Round in Brisbane

The 24-year-old crashed over for his maiden NRL try and converted it from out wide, following up second half tries to Ali Leiataua and Adam Pompey .

Penrith lock Isaah Yeo was yellow carded for foul play and fullback Dylan Edwards missed a last-minute penalty kick to send the match to golden point.

The injury-ravaged Warriors fielded a makeshift lineup, and Tuaupiki's told Fox League the feeling in the group is crazy.

Tuaupiki's also been awaiting the birth of his first child.

Winger Marcelo Montoya and hooker Wayde Egan went off injured.
