    Mitchell Starc's return to cricket's Indian Premier League has taken a turn for the better


    The 34-year-old left-armer struggled in the early stanzas of the T20 campaign, but has justified his 4.89 million dollar record price tag today in Ahmedabad.

    His player-of-the-match three for 34 - each of them top-five Hyderabad swashbucklers - has helped guide Kolkata into the Monday morning's final.

    They chased 160 to win by eight wickets with 6.2 overs to spare.
