Auckland Transport's reversing some changes to bus lane hours on Karangahape Road

Auckland Transport's reversing some changes to bus lane hours on Karangahape Road

It will reduce the additional hours it implemented last November.

During weekdays, the north side will stay the same, with bus-only times between 7am-10am and 3pm-7pm.

On the south side, they'll now only be in place between 3pm and 7pm - while bus lanes on the weekend have been scrapped.

Infrastructure and Fleet Specification Manager Edward Wright says they've met several times with the K-Road Business Association and have heard their concerns.

Fines given out for driving in the lanes won't be reversed, as they were valid at the time of being issued.
