The man who killed two Christchurch teens by driving into a crowd outside a party, will be behind bars at least two more years

The man who killed two Christchurch teens by driving into a crowd outside a party, will be behind bars at least two more years

In 2007, aged 22, Lipine Sila killed Hannah Rossiter and Jane Young, both 16 -- and grievously injured eight other teens, at an Edgeware Road party.

At a Parole hearing today, the Board's said he's 'still a long way from release'.

Sila's in maximum security -- and has been involved in nearly 100 incidents behind bars, including an assault on a guard three months ago.

    He's completed little rehabilitation work.

His parole will be reviewed in May 2026
