Main teacher unions and school principal groups are hoping to see more funding for learning support in this year's Budget

Main teacher unions and school principal groups are hoping to see more funding for learning support in this year's Budget

The PPTA, NZEI, the Secondary Principals Association and Principals Federation all identify this is as need.

Secondary Principals also want more clarity around charter schools and free school lunches -- NZPF wants the lunch programme expanded.

NZEI wants the money for charter schools, diverted into paying more teacher aides in public schools.

Both secondary school groups are concerned about addressing school property issues -- while NZEI wants funding for pay parity for ECE teachers to continue.
