Hopes key population data released from the Census will be able to influence Government policy

Hopes key population data released from the Census will be able to influence Government policy

It showed we have an ageing population, and a boost in the number of people identifying as Maori.

Deputy Chief Executive of Stats NZ Rachael Milicich says it will help the government know where to direct services.
