More details of two drive-by shootings in Auckland last night

Armed police were called to reports of gunfire on Onehunga's Ahuwhenua Crescent about 10.30pm, and to Haddon Street in Mangere East half an hour later.

Onehunga locals say they saw two men dressed in all black walk to the property, shooting once at the garage, then leaving on foot.

The garage door has a large hole, and what appears to be a spray of pellet holes.

A neighbour says he had a near miss taking out rubbish as the shooters arrived.
