Auckland's trains are set for further disruption this weekend, this time from planned industrial action

Auckland's trains are set for further disruption this weekend, this time from planned industrial action

Rail operator Auckland One Rail will run trains at a 20-minute frequency for peak times to cover shortages, with off-peak and weekend trains at regular frequency.

Auckland Transport warns there may be additional cancellations due to shortages.

Rail franchise manager Craig Inger says while it's frustrating, mediation will be underway next week to resolve the industrial action.
