Calls for changes to the tax system, as the country's rich continue to get richer

Calls for changes to the tax system, as the country's rich continue to get richer

The combined wealth of this year's NBR Rich List is 95.7 billion dollars, from about 72.6 last year.

Council of Trade Unions President Richard Wagstaff says this trend will get worse, not better, under the current government's policies.

He says things are getting better for only a small number of people.

Toy entrepreneurs the Mowbray family have unseated investment magnate Graeme Hart as the country's richest family.
