    Kiwibank says it's repaying customers incorrectly charged fees and interest


    The Commerce Commission's filing criminal charges against the bank, alleging systemic breaches of the Fair Trading Act.

    Herald business reporter John Weekes says it's believed to affect north of 36-thousand customers - to the tune of more than 7-million-dollars.

    He says Kiwibank admitted fault and dobbed itself in to the Commission.

    A Kiwibank spokesperson says all remediations will be completed by the end of this year.
