Realtor Janet Dickson's before the High Court at Wellington today - over te ao Maori training

She faces a five-year ban for refusing to do an hour-and-a-half module she says is against her Christian beliefs.

Herald Open Justice reports the judicial review is expected to finish today.

Lawyer Nikki Pender's told the Court Dickson worked in real estate for 30 years without disciplinary action.

She argues Dickson believed having to do the course was unlawful, irrelevant to her work, and a breach of rights.

She holds the penalty is out of proportion with the offence.
