Justin Timberlake has been arrested for "driving while intoxicated" in The Hamptons

The 43-year-old pop star was driving through Sag Harbor in the Long Island seaside community after enjoying a meal out with friends but had allegedly been drinking before leaving the restaurant, although there was "no drama" at the scene

A source told DailyMail.com: "Justin was out to dinner with friends and there were cop cars stationed outside the restaurant, like there are most nights.

"They look for people who are leaving after midnight who might have been drinking.

"Justin left at 12:30AM and was pulled over as soon as he left. Nobody was hurt and there was no drama at the scene."

One enforcement official said they expected Timberlake to be arraigned later on Tuesday (18.06.24) but did not provide any further details regarding the case.

The 'Cry Me A River' hitmaker - who is married to former '7th Heaven' star Jessica Biel and has Silas, nine, and Phineas, three, with her - is currently on tour and is due to play two back-to-back shows in Chicago later this week before heading to Madison Square Gardens in New York City.

The news comes just weeks after Jessica, 42, revealed how she and her husband managed to cope while he was away on the road.

Speaking on ABC's 'The View', she explained: "It's always a work in progress, right? It's constantly trying to find the balance, trying to find the time we can connect. Thank goodness for Zoom and Facetime. For parents who are gone a lot, that has been really helpful. Just finding the time we can connect and see each other in person or get him with the kids.

"We've never done this before with two, I'm exhausted. There's been four shows. I don't know how he's gonna do it or how we're gonna do it but we're gonna get through it, somehow, some way!"
