An Auckland man's appearing in the District Court today, accused of robbing a Pukekohe fastfood restaurant

Police say the 51-year-old verbally abused workers on Saturday morning, threatening to use a firearm, before taking their personal belongings.

They say he didn't own a firearm - and fled on foot, before being arrested yesterday afternoon.
