    Areas of Northland are without power due to a pair of tripped transformers


    The greater Maungaturoto, Mareretu, Kaiwaka & Mangawhai Ruawai areas are affected.

    Northpower says transpower's advised them that two of their transformers have tripped at the Maungaturoto substation.
