A man accused of murdering 22 year old Rebels gang member in Mount Wellington on Saturday has appeared in the Auckland District Court

A man accused of murdering 22 year old Rebels gang member in Mount Wellington on Saturday has appeared in the Auckland District Court

The 23 year old Head Hunter handed himself in this morning and was charged with murdering Texas Jack Doctor - and unlawful possession of a pistol.

He has interim name suppression - because some family members don't yet know about the charges.

He didn't seek bail and has been remanded in custody.

A man accused of being an accessory to murder appeared yesterday.

Neither man entered a plea - with next appearances at the Auckland High Court on the same date.
