Peter Andre has insisted that age doesn't matter in a relationship

The 51-year-old pop star has been married to Dr Emily Andre, 34, since 2015 and has Amelia, 10, Theo, seven, and three month Arabella with her but after learning that former Hear'Say singer Kym Marsh, 48, is now dating a 29-year-old, has admitted that "compatibility" is the most important thing between two people.

Writing in his new! magazine column, he said: "I saw that Kym Marsh is dating someone a bit younger and she's copped a lot of criticism. It's how they are with each other and how they feel about each other that counts. There are 16 years between Emily and I, but for us, it works. If they're in love, then good for them. People may have their own views but there are so many positives when you find a compatible partner."

Meanwhile, the 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker - who also has Junior, 19, and 16-year-old Princess with ex-wife Katie Price - also sent his well-wishes to 'Barbie' star and fellow Australian Margot Robbie, after the news broke that she and husband Tom Acklerey are expecting their first baby together.

He said: "A huge congratulations are in order for fellow Aussie Margot Robbie! I read that she and husband Tom Ackerley are expecting their first baby - what an exciting time for them. "

Peter described Margot as a "great actor" and noted that he has enjoyed watching how far she has come since she was cast in the Aussie soap opera 'Neighbours' more than a decade ago.

He added: "Apart from being a great actor, she's a fellow Gold Coaster and I've loved watching how much she's achieved in her career. She has her work, a lovely life and now a baby on the way."
