    A man was confronted by Police after allegedly trying to take donation money from a West Auckland RSA


    Around 3:40 this morning, Police were notified by security alarm of an intruder at the South Titirangi Road address.

    Police believe the man entered the premises and searched an office before allegedly stealing money from inside a veterans' donations box.

    The 34-year-old is due in Waitakere District Court on July 30th - charged with burglary and possession of an offensive weapon.
