    Former eye doctor Philip Polkinghorne has pleaded guilty to meth charges, ahead of his High Court trial


    He's facing a murder charge, after his wife of 30 years - Pauline Hanna - was found dead in their Remuera home in 2021.

    The day began with Polkinghorne admitting a charge of possessing meth - and a pipe for its consumption.
