    A man faces a raft of charges - accused of assaulting an Auckland Police officer in Epsom


    Police were called to a report of family harm in a Great South Road liquor store - about 7.30 last night.

    Senior Sergeant Megan Dalton says as an officer tried to restrain a man, both fell through a large glass window.

    The officer was cut on his face, arm and leg, needing a visit to hospital.
