Gisborne's mayor says the community will "wrap around" the family of the five-year-old boy found dead near his home

Gisborne's mayor says the community will "wrap around" the family of the five-year-old boy found dead near his home

Police, Search and Rescue, and community volunteers scoured the area of Tiniroto after Khyzah went missing Sunday afternoon.

His body was found about 3.30 yesterday afternoon, in a farm pond not far from his home.

Rehette Stoltz says locals have been through a lot in the past two years, and will get through it again.

She says she's proud of the community for joining the search and supporting the family.
