Archie Renaux and longtime love Annie O'Hara are engaged

The 'Alien: Romulus' star, 26, and his partner are thrilled to be planning their nuptials

Without spilling too many details, Archie told PEOPLE: "We've got a few things to plan and get ready for in this next year."

The couple have three-year-old daughter Iris together, who will have a part to play on their special day.

He said: "She goes to school next September ... so she'll certainly have a job I'm sure."

The 'Shadow and Bone' star and his fiancée started dating towards the end of 2019, and made their red carpet debut at the UK premiere of 'Catherine Called Birdy' in 2022.

At the time, he told Wonderland about settling down: "I can see how everything comes full circle as my daughter does the things I used to do when I was a kid. There's something quite special about that.

"Things have gotten very busy, and I'm really lucky and grateful to have been working a lot for most of this year. But now I'm really trying to balance that with finding time to spend with my family and enjoy those precious moments."

Archie was speaking to PEOPLE from the premiere of 'Alien: Romulus' in Los Angeles on Monday (12.08.24).

The 'Upgraded' star said of joining the iconic sci-fi franchise: "These films mean so much to a generation of people. My dad's a big fan of Alien, and so growing up, I remember watching it with him when I was a little kid, obviously fully unaware that I'd one day get to be a part of this legacy.

"So, yeah, it means the world.

"It really, really does mean the world. So you know whatever I sort of go on to do in my career, I'll always have this, and, yeah, it's a very, very special moment in my career."
