Iggy Azalea believes the music industry is full of "haters"

The 34-year-old rap star has invested her money in the cryptocurrency market in recent times, and Iggy claims that there are some strong similarities between the two industries

Iggy initially wrote on X: "I was made for this space [star emojis] (sic)"

The 'Fancy' hitmaker subsequently observed that the industries have a lot in common.

Iggy - who was born in Australia but moved to the US during her teens to pursue her music ambitions - wrote on the micro-blogging platform: "Male dominated, haters everywhere, hyper competitive and expensive

"Sounds just like the music industry."

Earlier this month, Iggy revealed the keys to her business successes.

The rapper - who has investments in the tech and telecommunications sectors - told Inc. magazine: "Growing as an artist and entrepreneur is always challenging and can be scary, but it's also such a necessary part of life."

Iggy believes it's ultimately important to view challenges as "opportunities".

Asked what advice she'd offer to aspiring entrepreneurs, Iggy replied: "Stay true to your vision, and don't be afraid to think outside the box. Embrace challenges and view them as opportunities."

What's more, Iggy believes she's always had an entrepreneurial approach to life.

The blonde beauty - who released her last album, 'The End of an Era', in 2021 - reflected: "I think I've always been an entrepreneur at heart - even in my music career.

"I've always taken charge of the business side as well as the creative. I see creativity and business as two sides of the same coin, and the goal is to let them inform each other.

"At its core, business innovation is another channel of creativity."
