    An Auckland councillor says a homicide in Blockhouse Bay is cause for concern


    Police discovered a man with critical injuries, who died at the scene.

    Officers are carrying out a scene examination of the nearby recreational reserve and Blockhouse Bay tennis club.

    Whau ward councillor Kerrin Leoni says it's incredibly sad.

    She says she's sending her support to the community and condolences once the victim has been identified.
