    Cheese rolls are on the in-flight menu for those travelling between Auckland and Invercargill today - as Air New Zealand celebrates five years of the route


    Since the introduction of the direct service, on August 25 2019, there've been more than 16-hundred flights, moving more than 230-thousand passengers between the two cities.

    The airline reckons today will be the first time the so-called 'Southland Sushi' has been served at 30-thousand feet.
