Concern there's a lack of regulation to stop gambling companies reaching young people

Concern there's a lack of regulation to stop gambling companies reaching young people

Problem Gambling Foundation has launched a petition, calling for a total ban on advertising for all gambling platforms.

Public Health Director Andree Froude says gambling ads are ramping up on social media, which particularly puts young people at risk.

She says three in four Australian children think gambling is a normal part of sport.

Public consultation has begun on the Government's next three-year gambling harm strategy.
