Waikato Police are investigating a man found dead near Raglan last night

It's believed he was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking his dog on State Highway 23.

He was found about 7pm near the highway intersection with Nga Mai Road.

A number of people are assisting Police with enquiries - with two particular vehicles of interest.

Police want to hear from anyone with dashcam footage, or who saw a man with a dog near Raglan between 4:30 and 7pm yesterday.
