No qualms from Crusaders CEO Colin Mansbridge over the 'lucky loser' aspect of Super Rugby's new play-off format

No qualms from Crusaders CEO Colin Mansbridge over the 'lucky loser' aspect of Super Rugby's new play-off format

The competition will culminate in a six-team finals series next year, rather than eight.

The opening play-off week will see the top seed play the sixth, the second against the fifth and the third against the fourth...with the highest-ranked loser joining the winners in the semi-finals.

Mansbridge lays out this scenario featuring the 1 v 6 match-up.
