More must be done to reduce the burden of respiratory disease on New Zealanders

More must be done to reduce the burden of respiratory disease on New Zealanders

New data from the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation shows a spike in the number of people impacted by diseases such as asthma, pulmonary disease, and other respiratory illness.

Foundation Chief Executive Letitia Harding says the research shows we need to do better.

She says while things like asthma can't be cured, prevention and care can be improved.
