    More details this morning, about the financial situation facing Synlait


    The struggling Canterbury-based milk processing company is announcing a net loss after tax of 182.1 million dollars.

    Profit is down 61-percent.

    Net debt is up 33-percent, to 551.6 million dollars.

    Shareholders recently approved a 218-million dollar capital injection by shareholders, A2 Milk and Bright Dairy, to help pay off that debt.
