Kerry Katona has been left "scared to go out" after her bag was stolen

The former Atomic Kitten singer has bemoaned having the "worst luck" after her designer holdall was taken by a "strange" man from a London hotel she was staying at with fiance Ryan Mahoney and though she knows her belongings can be replaced, she was still left shaken by the incident

Kerry wrote in her column for new! magazine: "I was robbed in London while staying in a hotel in Mayfair last week - I couldn't believe it, I have the worst luck.

"Ryan and I were checking in to the hotel, which I won't name, and since our room wasn't ready we left our bags with the concierge and grabbed some lunch.

"I left my Gucci holdall with them which had all my medication in it for my back and chronic pain, the phone I use for my banking apps, my earphones and much more.

"I did notice a man who was acting strangely in the hotel lobby while we were there but I don't like to judge people, so didn't think anything of it.

"However, later the hotel said my bag was missing and after checking the CCTV, we saw him take it once Ryan and I had left. It was so triggering for me and I did feel emotional afterwards, it's just so scary to think you're not safe.

"Thankfully, Ryan and I are OK and things can be replaced, it's just frustrating and scary. I don't understand how people can wake up and decide to do these things, it's awful. When things like this happen it makes me scared to go out as I don't want to be targeted."

The 44-year-old star was in London for a consultation about her impending facelift, which she is "excited" about.

She wrote: "On a brighter note, I had my facelift consultation this week and I can't wait for it. I'm not getting a full facelift, it's just a lower face and neck lift. I went to Pall Mall Medical and I trust them completely.

"I think if you want something done, then why not? I am getting older so some tweaks are OK, without going too far.

"I've got panto in December, where Katie Price and I are starring in 'Cinderella', so I'm not going to have it done until next year.

"I am always going to be nervous but I trust my doctors and am excited.

"Recovering from surgery is a bit like giving birth, it's scary and tough when you do it, but then later you want another one!"
