Brantley Gilbert's wife gave birth on his tour bus

The 39-year-old country star - who has been married to Amber Cochran since 2015 and already has Barrett, six, and five-year-old Braylen with her - had been on stage in Mississippi as part of his 'Off the Rails' tour and was on stage on Friday (12.10.24) night when he was called backstage early on in his set to find that his third child was making their way into the world

He wrote on Instagram: "So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I'll never forget. Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us mad love and support, and most of all... Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you."

The 'Bottoms Up' hitmaker made a quick call to his mother to inform her of the news, and then he ran back on stage to continue his performance.

In a video posted to his social media page, he told the crowd: " We got a baby!"

The couple then jointly shared the news on their social media profiles, and captioned the post: "We've got a new addition to the Gilbert family ... God is good."

The family revealed the news that they would be expanding on Mother's Day last May, as the singer held up an ultrasound photograph.

They captioned the post: "How's this for a Mother's Day?"
