Little change to the number of job ads in New Zealand

Little change to the number of job ads in New Zealand

    Seek's September data shows a 0.5-percent month-on-month reduction.

Overall, job advertisements are down nearly 30-percent in the last year.

Although, Manager Rob Clark says Canterbury's bucked the trend.

He says its job volumes were up six-percent, but that's likely rebounding from August's four-percent drop.

Rob Clark says the region's experiencing strong numbers for hospitality, tourism, retail and healthcare roles.
