    A man has been hospitalised after an alleged unprovoked attack in a gay bar on Auckland's Karangahape Road, early on Sunday


    34-year-old Julian Suarez has injuries including a fractured nose

    He says has no memory - after seeing two men in the toilet at Family Bar.

    Suarez says he moved here from Colombia - to escape violence.

    The bar says it is shocked and deeply dismayed by the incident.
