Auckland Airport's readying for its busiest day of the year

Auckland Airport's readying for its busiest day of the year

    Auckland Airport
    Auckland Airport
Sixty-four thousand travellers are expected through its terminals on Sunday -- the equivalent to Napier's entire population.

One point eight million people will pass through the airport throughout the entire holiday period.

Chief Customer Officer, Scott Tasker says they're well prepared for the influx.

He says they've worked together with airlines and border agencies in the lead-up, and will have extra staff on to help passengers.
