'Raven's Home' co-stars Anneliese Van Der Pol and Johnno Wilson are married

The couple - who played exes Chelsea Grayson and Garrett Grayson on the hit Disney show - tied the knot in private at Santa Barbara Courthouse on December 11

Speaking to PEOPLE about their nuptials, Anneliese explained that it was important that they had a low-key and stress-free wedding.

She said: "To be honest, the only thing that was important to me was that the exchanging of our vows and our commitment to each other be private.

"My mother is no longer with us, and we didn't want to stress anyone else out about travel, lodging, etc. We're 40 and in love so that's plenty for me."

The 40-year-old actress also spilled that she opted for a budget wedding gown that cost just $98 and that it was actually selected by her sisters.

She said of the vintage Jessica McClintock frock: "My sisters spotted it on an outing, and the fact that they had a small hand in picking it out means a whole lot to me."

Anneliese gushed about her husband: "I want Johnno to be a witness to my life, and I want to be a witness to his ... He matches my silliness and doesn't take life or himself too seriously. I love that and need that so much."

The groom, also 40, opted for a suave J.Crew tuxedo.

He said: "So I'm going classic Bond. Johnno Bond."

After saying "I Do" and posing for pictures, the new Mrs and Mrs Wilson went to the nearby Michelin restaurant Caruso's for a special wedding dinner followed by an evening at a hotel.

The pair announced their engagement in December 2023.

Anneliese looked shocked in the Instagram snaps of Johnno proposing by presenting her with a ring by the Christmas tree two days before Christmas.

She gushed in the caption: "Thank you @disney for introducing me to my TV ex-spouse and real life fiancé.

    12.23.23."

The pair have occasionally posted about each other on the social media app but mainly keep their relationship private.

'Raven's Home' is the reboot of 'That's So Raven'.
