    A person's due in court in a week over an alleged Saturday night assault in New Plymouth


    People who may have seen a fight around Ariki and Brougham Streets between 8:30 and 9:30 on the night of Saturday December 28 are urged to contact Police.

    A 27-year-old man was arrested in relation to the incident - which left a person with serious head injuries.
