    A Mongrel Mob boss on bail has gone on the run, while awaiting sentencing for dealing meth


    Police are appealing for information on the location of 38 year old Mathew Phillip Karetu, who is the subject of an arrest warrant.

    He pleaded guilty to multiple drug charges and the unlawful possession of a pistol.

    Police say he's thought to be in the Counties Manukau and Eastern districts, and may be travelling between the two.

    He was due to be sentenced at the Manukau District Court next month.
