A scene investigation's continuing in Auckland's Avondale after a woman was found dead

A scene investigation's continuing in Auckland's Avondale after a woman was found dead

Police were called to a Holly Street property just after 1.30am yesterday, where the body was discovered.

A 35-year-old man's been charged with murder and is due to appear in the Auckland District Court tomorrow.

No one else is being sought in relation to the death, but residents and locals can expect a large police presence.

Neighbours have told our newsroom they now feel unsafe in the area, with one saying crime has gotten out of control.
