The Prime Minister's off to the United Arab Emirates tomorrow, for the signing of a high-level agreement by Trade Minister Todd McClay

The Prime Minister's off to the United Arab Emirates tomorrow, for the signing of a high-level agreement by Trade Minister Todd McClay

Two-way trade between New Zealand and the UAE is valued at 1.3 billion-dollars -- and the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement being signed this week, will slash duties on 98.5 percent of Kiwi exports.

Chris Luxon says it provides a springboard for New Zealand companies to engage with the UAE's globalised and high-value market.

While in the country, he'll meet with Emirati leaders -- promoting New Zealand as well-connected trading nation, sustainable innovator and investment destination -- before returning home on Thursday.
